Carillon in St. Pölten

The New Year's baby of the city of St. Pölten was welcomed with the sounds of the new carillon consisting of 48 carillon bells.

The carillon bells sound with the notes c2 - d/2 - ... - c/6 and weigh a total of approx. 2.000 kg.

Since July 2023, three orchestra bowls with the low-pitched striking notes (nominals) c1 - e1 - g1 have enriched the sound spectrum of this carillon.
